Hello! My name is Randi and I am 35 years old. After losing my parents, it was hard to find the light in the darkness of my grief. I was so distant from not only God, family, and friends, but also from myself. I needed help and I needed it fast.

I am a single momma to a handsome boy. I was born and raised in Missouri. I work for a major hospital and I love it. Ironically I have an associate’s degree in Computer Science/Web Design but apparently, God had other plans for me.

How The Grieving Light started: I originally wanted to design a website that would create a safe place for anyone to go to and discuss their feelings during their grieving journey.  I was sitting on the floor looking at ideas and God laid on my heart to write a book along with the website. I laughed but it kept coming back to me.

A grieving journey can feel so lonely, especially when everyone else goes back to living their lives and you’re stuck trying to live yours. In this book, I share the ups and downs of my journey and how I survived it all.

So here I am 🙂 I hope that my book with touch your life as well as many others. I hope it will help anyone find the clarity and the help they may need. Feel free to message me anytime. I may not be a licensed therapist or psychologist, but I am a great listener and am here for you. You are not alone in this! Below are my two segments with Ozarks Live!.
